Remember that Robert Zemeckis movie about the kid who goes to the North Pole on a train? There’s a hobo in it named Glacier Gulch, or maybe Hobo Glacier Gulch. Tom Hanks played the train. I think it was called The Christmas Train?
When Stephen Spielberg saw that movie, he was like “Guys, this CGI is pretty creepy, and it totally diminishes the source material, but I can make it creepier/more diminishy.” So he started working on a movie version of the beloved comic Tintin, which is about an intrepid Belgian reporter who eats lots of waffles and has a dog named Snowy who is a white supremacist (note: I have never read Tintin, but once heard someone complain about it at college.)
Here’s the trailer! I have no idea what the plot of the movie is, but it has lots of CGI explosions and creepy CGI people and pets. More like Stephen CGIberg!

Also, it turns out Snowy is a wirehaired fox terrier! They are my favorite dogs because they are adorable and always up to something (also: hypoallergenic!). Here is a video of a wirehaired fox terrier being awesome/not being a racist! Keep running, Poppy!
